Colin J. Donnaruma, Esq. is a doctoral fellow at the University at Albany. He is writing his dissertation on political economics challenging the presumed compatibility of capitalism and democracy. Colin’s work explores democratic and participatory alternatives to market based economics. He has presented his research at numerous conferences and his work was recently featured in the Economic Democracy special edition of the Review of Radical Political Economics.
Colin is an active organizer with Occupy Albany, New York Students Rising and is President of the Capital Region Chapter of the NYCLU.
