Angelica got her start in electoral organizing in 2008. She graduated from the University at Albany with a dual degree in Political Science and English in 2011. She began organizing around public higher education with a focus on austerity cuts, access to education and excessive administrator compensation after five Humanities departments at her university were cut. She continues to organize around those and other issues with the Save Our SUNY Coalition based in Albany, NY. She now works as an organizer for the CWA 1104 Education Division for the Graduate Student Employees Union and tweets from @ange_marie
