Willie Murray is a resident of Binghamton who loves his city and is a committed community activist. Currently balancing work with study at SUNY Broome, he still finds time to serve on the Southern Tier Citizen Action Board, on the Citizen Action anti-racism committee and to help run the organization’s Progressive Leaders of Tomorrow group. He is recognized in Binghamton as a strong opponent of fracking and for his tireless work for social, economic, and environmental justice.
